Fingerprinting

There are two types of fingerprints needed to work in a classroom setting:
  1. Employment - District fingerprints
  2. CTC - Permit or Certificate fingerprints
Fingerprints are monitored by the requesting agency and by law cannot be shared, therefore two separate sets are required.

Fingerprint Status
The Commission does not have control regarding DOJ's processing timeframe. Applicants who used the Live Scan automated process may check the status of their fingerprint submission by visiting DOJ website. You will need your ATI number from your LS form and your date of birth when checking your status. https://applicantstatus.doj.ca.gov
